Another first for Moon Curser this Portuguese grape variety (traditionally used to make port) was used to make dry table wine. A tiny quantity grown in a vineyard on Osoyoos East Bench yielded only 58 cases of this most intriguing wine. Our next vintage is coming in 2017.
This is a big and lush wine, with dark fruit, leather and tar notes on the nose and palate. The firm tannins are well balanced with the intense fruit and oak flavours resulting in long finish, and great aging potential. Intriguing.
